Off-Campus Library Services

The Columbus Technical College Library supports the off campus instruction that includes online instruction, classes taught at Fort Moore and the Dual Enrollment program that serves the high schools in our service area. Instructors are contacted and advised of the available library services. Librarians provide off campus instruction of library resources to these classes upon request from instructors. Online resources are made available to all off campus students and faculty. Printed material is sent to off campus sites on request. Off-campus students have full access to Columbus Technical College Library’s online catalog, many online databases through GALILEO, the online Student Handbook for the Library, Program Guides, texting and chat services, and other instructional resources provided by GALILEO, and library orientation. Library resources can be accessed by students and faculty using their Single Sign-On credentials. Off-campus students are allowed to borrow books from the Library’s collection, use interlibrary loan services, and access any other Technical College System of Georgia College Library through a state-wide resource sharing agreement. Students are also allowed access to Columbus State University's Library through a partnership between institutions. The Library offers individual assistance from a librarian via email, chat, text, phone, fax or in person.
