Dental Hygiene
Must have presented official documentation of an earned high school diploma or official GED scores to the Admissions Office.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- No provisional and/or special admission students considered for the program.
- Must have minimum Reading and Writing COMPASS scores and these scores cannot be more than five (5) years old in the semester you compete. – 20 points
- Complete prerequisite courses for your intended program as listed on web site by the end of spring semester.
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 at the end of spring semester – 75 points
- Submit packet containing the following: Letter of Intent, Personal Data Form, and Documentation of volunteer hours for dental programs (minimum 20 hours), or the completion of a health sciences certificate or diploma - 5 points
- Packets should be turned in for fall semester admission no sooner than two weeks prior to due date. All packets must be complete prior to due date.
- Current CRP, physical exams and immunizations record are required and must be submitted after acceptance into the program.
- Hepatitis B immunization series must be started upon acceptance.
- Once admitted, students will be required to attend a mandatory, scheduled dental hygiene program orientation presented by the Dental Hygiene faculty.
