Biological Laboratory Technician - BL21

Program Curriculum

The Biological Laboratory Technician program prepares students for employment in various research, laboratory, and biomanufacturing facilities requiring FDA regulatory compliance. The program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for employment as a research and biomanufacturing technician. Biological science laboratory technicians work in various settings that discover, manufacture, or test biologics, medical devices, and diagnostic materials. These materials are produced for use by humans and animals and are regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The program can be completed in 1 year; therefore, graduates are quickly prepared to enter the workforce.
