Dental Hygiene(DH13)

Must have presented official documentation of an earned high school diploma or official GED scores to the Admissions Office.

  1. Be at least 18 years old.
  2. No provisional and/or special admission students considered for the program.
  3. Must have minimum Reading and Writing scores on the College placement exam. Compass Scores and Accuplacer scores do not expire. (50% ranking)
  4. Complete prerequisite courses for your intended program as listed on web site by the end of Spring semester.
  5. Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 at the end of spring semester (50% ranking)
  6. Submit packet containing the following: Letter of Intent and Documentation of volunteer hours for dental programs (minimum 20 hours), or the completion of a health sciences certificate or diploma 
    1. Packets should be turned in for fall semester admission no sooner than two weeks prior to due date. All packets must be complete prior to due date.
  7. Current CPR card, physical exams and immunizations record are required and must be submitted after acceptance into the program.
  8. Hepatitis B immunization series must be started upon acceptance.
  9. Once admitted, students will be required to attend a mandatory, scheduled dental hygiene program orientation presented by the Dental Hygiene faculty.
